Dior Editorials
The concept for my editorial shoot has come from a Dior editorial that featured in vogue Brazil. This showed Devon Windsor in a short black wig, exploring Paris' sights in beautiful Dior gowns. This editorial story made my mind up that I wanted my editorials to be shot outside, the location shoots would also give variety to my portfolio which is mainly shot in studio.
The contrast of the elegant sleek ball gowns being worn outside on a city street was something I wanted to recreate. So I first went on the hunt for the perfect dress and found a beautiful pale pink sateen gown. I needed this to go in at the waist to reflect the Dior new look shape.
Next was to finnd a model to go into this dress. I chose Kate Edney as my model because of her beautifully large features. She had gorgeous eyes and large lips which I couldnt wait to work with.
